Some new enterprise messaging platforms boast that they’d like to kill email – which, frankly, I believe is not only unrealistic but unproductive (and hasn’t happened over the decade of ESNs existing!). The solution is to create a communication protocol for employees that uses both corporate messaging solutions and email, and plays each medium to its strengths. Ensure the right message is delivered via the right channel to ensure swift and accurate action is taken.
