But there is a danger to applying the consumer mindset to the business world, says Lua CEO Michael DeFranco: Most consumer apps simply are not capable of dealing with the complexities of the business world… As a rule, the consumer apps do not provide the security or control that large organizations require. Adding this kind of functionality to basic services like storage and scheduling increases complexity and, alas, diminishes performance.
